Pay Dates for Summer Faculty

Summer courses taught in 5 or 10 weeks should offer 37.5 contact hours or the equivalent for online and hybrid courses for 3 credit hour courses.

    Timeline for Planning

    October 11, 2023Associate Deans of each College receive planning materials for Summer 2024.
    October 13, 2023Summer Planning Budget and past summer enrollments sent to departments. Departments do not return anything at this time but use this information to guide your planning.
    October 16, 2023Banner opens for summer course entry. Reminder: The summer schedule of courses will be created by rolling the schedule from the previous summer.
    December 1, 2023Banner closes for summer course entry.
    December 15, 2023Summer schedule viewable to students on the web.
    January 12, 2024Summer School will send departments summer schedule that asks for salaries to be assigned.
    February 9, 2024Deadline for departments to enter summer salaries.
    March 8, 2024Final summer schedules go to Chairs for approval.
    April 1, 2024Registration for Summer 2024 begins.
    April 15, 2024Review enrollment to look for low and high enrolled courses
    Week of April 15 – 19, 2024Faculty salary confirmation letters are sent to instructors via email.
    May 1, 2024Last date for changes for first and extended term.
    June 3, 2024Last date for changes for second term.
